Problem: Interoperability between VoIP entities
Kayote recognizes that even under standards-based conventions for VoIP protocols, such as SIP and H.323, carriers and ITSPs cannot terminate between each other without proper intervention. In fact, different versions of the same protocol can prevent successful termination of calls and may even crash telephony networks, potentially resulting in millions of dollars in lost opportunity and customer good will.

Solution: Enable Seamless Peering
Kayote's engineers are constantly testing hardware and software used by telephony carriers and analyzing telephony traffic records. This hands-on experience with actual situations enables Kayote to uncover and repair the basic incompatibilities that are potentially fatal to a telephony carrier’s business. Internally developed Kayote servers incorporate back-to-back user agents and real time understanding of potential protocol conflicts for ultimate flexibility in solving any peering problems. Kayote supports both SIP and H323 and provides conversion between the two. Today, the largest VoIP carriers who would otherwise be incompatible to terminate traffic with each other are able to employ Kayote to bridge their gap, creating new and highly profitable partner relationships.
