Quality of Service Matters
Call quality and reliability are critical to any large-scale adoption of VoIP as a means of transport and termination of telephone calls.

Real-time monitoring of QoS
Kayote monitors the quality parameters on a route-by-route, termination-by-termination basis to determine if satisfactory QoS (Quality of Service) levels are being sustained to every call. If these parameters are not constant, Kayote will route to different termination partners. QoS metrics include extrinsic call setup parameters (ASR, ACD, and PDD) as well as intrinsic sampled measurements of packet loss, jitter and delay. Furthermore, in many cases, proprietary Kayote algorithms can be employed in order to improve these metrics.

Dramatically Improve ASR
In preliminary trials, Kayote implemented solutions that significantly improved ASRs by 100% and brought about a 40% reduction in PDD in particularly troubled routes. Furthermore, it was shown that in many cases, proprietary Kayote algorithms can be employed in order to improve these metrics.
